My effect on the result was much greater than the bare figures suggest (explained later). Chesterfield was one of only four seats in the country where the massive swing to Labour was reversed. Benn saw the writing on the wall (that he could be ousted next time), & did not contest in 2001, when the seat was indeed taken by the LibDem. I had shown the way, but there has been not a word of thanks from them..
In fact, my intention had been to stand against Shyster Bliar in 2001, & I would have made a difference there too. It was not to be. See later for the diabolical means used to stop me. Diabolical yes, but a great compliment that they should be so terrified of one little old WW2 Veteran. “TWO CHEERS FOR DEMOCRACY” wrote E. M. Forster. If only we had it!

Until the age of 70, I was proud to be British, proud to have ‘Done My Bit’ in WW2, lucky to survive when my brave young shipmates were dying around me.
I believed, as we were constantly told, that ‘British judges are the finest in the world’. I am ashamed I was so gullible for so long.
From 1995 came a succession of shocks, as I began to learn that there are many rotten apples among them. (We know what happens to the rest of the apples in a barrel when the rotten ones are not removed!).

Though the process started long before Bliar came to power, under his regime Britain has increasingly become a ruthless, lawless, murderous & merciless Police State, just as bad as Hitler’s Germany, but less honest, the victims fewer – AS YET!   Hitler, Stalin, Apartheid South Africa, Idi Amin, et al, were at least honest about their policies.
      The Bliar Regime hides behind a nauseating pretence of ‘Democracy’, concern for ‘Human Rights’ & the ‘Rule of Law’.

I would not claim to be a ‘good man’ (my conscience tells me otherwise),but it has fallen to me to expose the WELL HIDDEN horror of Britain today. Half the nation (which once had courage enough to stand alone against Hitler) glory in the power & perks from being part of THIS Police State. 99.9% of the remainder are either completely brainwashed, or completely spineless. Can the .01% who DO have conscience & courage open the eyes of the brainwashed, & find a spark of courage in the spineless?

BUT LET’S PUT THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN THEM; - - bent coppers, crooked lawyers, poisonous politicians – and ESPECIALLY corrupt judges (‘pour encouragez les autres’)!
Who can blame the little criminals, when the big ones are getting away with murder – LITERALLY!

Arnold (Andy) McCardle was completely sane, but he was ‘Blowing the Whistle’ on drug smuggling by Strathclyde Police. To silence him, they first put him in the notorious Barlinnie Prison, then in Carstairs State ‘Hospital’, where so-called ‘doctors’, & so-called ‘nurses’, were given the job of ‘curing’ his ‘delusions’.
For many months they pumped him full of drugs by force, to destroy his brain. His mental strength was such that he was able to resist even this fiendish torture so, on 26th December 2004 he was brutally murdered.
The OFFICIAL verdict was ‘Death from natural causes’ – but he had a smashed eye socket, a broken jaw, a torn ear, & a cut lip suck with superglue!
Just six weeks later (too late to save Andy’s life) one of those he was exposing was given a six year prison sentence – for drug smuggling! So, his ‘delusions’ were not delusions at all!
Nobel Laureate Alekzandr Solzhenitsyn wrote, “To put a sane person in a madhouse (his word) is worse than the gas chamber … the torture is more cruel, death takes longer”. The world famous Russian dissident Vladimir Bukovsky said much the same.
George Orwell wrote, “If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on the human face for ever - & remember – it IS for ever!”
Andy suffered both. Only a Nation State WORSE than Nazi Germany, only criminals WORSE than Hitler, Himmler & Heydrich could inflict WORSE than the gas chambers on their victims.
It would be bad enough if Andy were the only victim, but there are others. If it could happen to them, it can happen to you – or yours! As in all Police States, it WILL get worse!
